The Cylon Transport was a faster-than-light support vessel used by the Cylons following their technological evolution in the years after the Cylon War. Driven by four sublight engines and reaction control thrusters and equipped with an FTL drive, it served as a support ship within the Cylon fleet rather than a combat type.

The Cylon Transport came into use among the Cylons in the years following the Cylon War, a product of the technological evolution that reshaped their fleet during that period. The refugee fleet encountered the Cylon Transports on two occasions during its exodus from the Cyrannus Star System: first at the Battle of Kobol, and again during the invasion of New Caprica.
