Earth: the new home of the survivors

This Earth was the world settled by the survivors of the Twelve Colonies and their humanoid Cylon allies at the end of their long flight. Already home to primitive humans, it became the cradle of a new lineage descended from Hera Agathon.

By Joe Garratt

This Earth was a planet that was settled by refugees from the Cyrannus Star System and humanoid Cylons at the end of their long flight. It was named after Earth, a world the humanoid Cylons had settled nearly four thousand years before and for which the refugees had been searching for years.

Settlement#

This Earth was settled by refugees from the Cyrannus Star System together with humanoid Cylons who had joined them. They named it after the earlier Earth, the world settled by the humanoid Cylons nearly four thousand years prior, which the refugees had spent years searching for.

The world was already inhabited by a vast amount of creatures and covered by lush grass landscapes. Tribal human beings were the primary lifeform on the planet, and they possessed the same DNA as the humans of the fleet. This provided a perfect match for breeding and thus for the survival of the human race.

Hera Agathon and the new lineage#

It was on this Earth that Hera Agathon grew up and began what was regarded as the maternal lineage for all the humans of the generations that followed. Many centuries later, in modern times, scientists of the planet unearthed the fossil of the figure they came to call their Mitochondrial Eve.

Modern Earth#

By the time of those discoveries, the civilization of Earth was in the midst of a technological boom. Its people had already become capable of constructing simple robots.
