Some months into the exodus, Greenleaf was attacked by a Cylon Raider, which caused a hull breach in one of its corridors and claimed the life of at least one person, Ray Abinell. Ten weeks later his widow, Sesha Abinell, took hostages aboard Cloud Nine, demanding the death of the Cylon prisoner held on Galactica. Greenleaf itself stayed with the fleet, and an FTL fault aboard briefly held up the fleet's jumps as it neared the Ionian Nebula.
