The model carries a cluster of eight sublight engines with manoeuvring thrusters, and like every ship that kept up with the fleet it had an FTL drive. At least two Perseus-type freighters survived the Cylon attack on the Twelve Colonies and travelled with the refugee fleet under the protection of the battlestar Galactica.
