Almost a year after the Fall of the Twelve Colonies, the roughly four hundred and thirty one refugees aboard Hexare voted in the Colonial presidential election, alongside the rest of the surviving population of the Fleet. Before that, Hexare had done what the other civilian hulls did: run from the Cylon assault on the Twelve Colonies, gather into the fleet forming under Galactica's protection, and set out on the long exodus into deep space.
