Hibernia was the only moon of the colony Virgon, orbiting the star Helios Beta in the Cyrannus star system. Although the moon was only marginally habitable, it was settled a few centuries before the Fall of the Twelve Colonies by a group of Virgon dissidents called the Celtans.

Settlement#

Hibernia circled Virgon as that colony's only natural satellite. Conditions on the moon were harsh, leaving it only marginally suited to habitation, yet it still drew settlers. A few centuries before the Fall of the Twelve Colonies, a group of Virgon dissidents called the Celtans departed their homeworld and established themselves on Hibernia, giving the moon a population descended from those who had broken away from Virgon society.
