By Joe Garratt

Hippolyta was a student of Athena Academy on Caprica and a follower of the Monotheist faith. Drawn into religious extremism, she and her boyfriend Pann were recruited by Barnabas Greeley into the violent Soldiers of the One splinter cell that he led, a path that would cost both of them their lives.

Radicalisation#

A Monotheist studying at Athena Academy, Hippolyta was recruited along with her boyfriend Pann into the breakaway Soldiers of the One cell led by Barnabas Greeley. Although Greeley held extreme views on sexual immorality and drug use, Hippolyta and Pann began disappearing with him through the nights, returning to the cell's dockyard hideout half undressed and glassy eyed. She was among the recruits drawn from Athena Academy into Greeley's terror campaign, and was identified by the authorities as a party to a failed bombing at a spaceport.

Death#

The cell's violence culminated in an attempt on the life of Sister Clarice Willow. In the aftermath, Hippolyta was caught in an alleyway outside her apartment and strangled to death by Clarice's husband, Olaf. Her body was found soon afterward, possibly by the security service that had already named her as a suspect in the failed spaceport bombing.
