Hippolyta: radicalised Athena Academy student
Hippolyta was an Athena Academy student and a Monotheist who, with her boyfriend Pann, was radicalised by Barnabas Greeley and joined his breakaway Soldiers of the One cell on Caprica. After the cell's attempt on Clarice Willow's life, she was strangled to death by Clarice's husband, Olaf.
Hippolyta was a student of Athena Academy on Caprica and a follower of the Monotheist faith. Drawn into religious extremism, she and her boyfriend Pann were among the first students Sister Clarice Willow brought into the Soldiers of the One, and both later sided with Barnabas Greeley and his violent splinter cell, a path that would cost them their lives. Radicalisation#
A Monotheist studying at Athena Academy, Hippolyta sat in on Monotheist meetings alongside Pann, Ben Stark and Keon Gatwick. She and Pann later threw in their lot with Barnabas Greeley, whose violent approach clashed with Clarice's own plans, and worked out of his cell's dockside warehouse in Caprica City. She watched the confrontation between Clarice and Greeley at the docks, and at Greeley's order she joined Pann, Gatwick and Lacy Rand in the failed attempt to bomb the Caprica Interplanetary Spaceport. Death#
The cell's violence had included an attempt on the life of Sister Clarice Willow, and once the Blessed Mother handed Clarice control of Caprica's cells, she took her revenge. The morning after the spaceport attempt, with Pann already dead, Clarice came for Hippolyta outside her apartment. Hippolyta tried to run, but Clarice's husband, Olaf, subdued her in the alley and she was killed. The two deaths helped point agent Jordan Duram towards Clarice.
