Durham served as a special agent in the Caprica City bureau of the Global Defense Department, Caprica's law enforcement and intelligence service. His name is spelled "Durham" on screen in one episode, while the credits use "Duram." (Caprica, "Pilot"; "Rebirth")
When the Soldiers of the One carried out a bombing of the maglev in Caprica City, Durham was assigned to investigate the attack, tying it to Ben Stark and pursuing the theory that Zoe Graystone had been involved too. When evidence from the Graystone case went missing from the GDD's own evidence lockup, he began to suspect his director, and came to believe that the agency had been compromised by the movement it was meant to oppose.
