Keon Gatwick

Keon Gatwick was a Caprican terrorist affiliated with the Soldiers of the One. A student converted to Monotheism under Sister Clarice Willow, he became a bombmaker for Barnabas Greeley's militant cell and was killed during the feud between Greeley and Clarice. Conversion and the Soldiers of the One#

Gatwick was a student at the Athena Academy in Caprica City and the best friend of Ben Stark. Under the influence of Sister Clarice Willow, the academy's headmistress, he converted to Monotheism, one of several converts at the school, and joined the Soldiers of the One alongside them, later siding with Barnabas Greeley's violent cell. In the days before the bombing of the Maglev 23 train, Gatwick built the suicide vest that Stark wore to kill himself and the passengers around him. (Caprica, "Pilot"; "Know Thy Enemy")

Bombings and Lacy Rand#

In the aftermath of the bombing, Lacy Rand, a fellow Monotheist, learned from Zoe Graystone's avatar that Gatwick knew about the trip to Gemenon that Zoe had planned. Rand needed to get a crate, in fact the U-87 robot carrying Zoe's avatar, to Gemenon, and Gatwick reluctantly took her to Greeley for help, a request that drew her into the cell. When the Global Defense Department prepared to search the academy's lockers, Clarice warned Gatwick by text and he got his explosives and bombmaking gear out before the raid. The car bomb and the feud#

Gatwick and Rand's place in the cell grew more dangerous as Greeley's feud with Clarice deepened. Gatwick helped build a bomb triggered by a wireless key fob, and Rand switched it for the fob on Clarice's keychain while in her office at the academy. Rand set the bomb off with a phone call, but Clarice was not in the car: she and her driver had stopped to watch Amanda Graystone's suicide attempt on the Pantheon Bridge. (Caprica, "End of Line")

Gatwick then built explosives for an attack on the Caprica Interplanetary Spaceport, meant to stop Clarice's trip to Gemenon, and served as getaway driver while Athena students Pann and Hippolyta were assigned with Rand to plant them. The operation failed when security caught Rand trying to place her bomb, and the three fled in Gatwick's car. Once Clarice had control of Caprica's cells, she killed Pann and Hippolyta, and Gatwick hid with Rand and Greeley in an unfinished office building. Having lost faith in the cell, he tried to leave and was shot through the neck as he went. (Caprica, "End of Line"; "Retribution")
