Which Signalis Replika Are You? Take the Quiz
Nine questions about how you work, what keeps you stable and what you do when the facility starts falling apart, and we'll match you to a Replika model from S-23 Sierpinski: Elster, Falke, Kolibri, Mynah, Storch or Adler.
The Eusan Nation builds its Replikas by copying the minds of chosen humans, and every model comes with its own job, temperament and list of known issues. Answer nine questions to find out which one you'd be, then read the Replika guide for how they're made and why they fall apart. (Signalis)

The results explained#
Elster (LSTR)#
The LSTR overview describes a combat engineer built mainly for orbital service, "a tough and stoic loner" suited to work as a sapper or scout. (Signalis, "Replika Overview: LSTR") Ariane's notes show Elster and her growing close on the Penrose-512, even though pilots were told not to befriend their unit. (Signalis) In the game Elster enters S-23 thinking she's looking for a worker called Alina Seo, and slowly remembers it was Ariane all along. (Signalis)
Falke (FKLR)#
The FKLR overview calls Falke the head of every facility's Protektor force, "an authority that may never be questioned", able to bend weaker minds and move objects at a distance. (Signalis, "Replika Overview: FKLR") After crossing the red gate she wrote that her mind felt "contaminated, defiled, by another person's memory". (Signalis, "Falke's Diary") She's the last boss Elster faces. (Signalis)
Kolibri (KLBR)#
The KLBR overview calls the Kolibri "the most capable Bioresonance unit ever produced", and every Falke has a cadre of them. (Signalis, "Replika Overview: KLBR") The Known Issues file warns that once most of a cadre degrades, the rest get dragged down, and that Kolibris need a well-stocked library to stay stable. (Signalis, "Replika Known Issues, Part 4") The one Kolibri at S-23 who didn't degrade is found in the library, unable to bear the others' song. (Signalis)
Mynah (MNHR)#
The MNHR overview says Mynahs keep their calm "even in lethal radiation, under crushing pressure and in zero G", and that their personality isn't suited to combat. (Signalis, "Replika Overview: MNHR") Their pattern is "extremely stable", and small stuffed animals make good comfort objects, though not cats. (Signalis, "Replika Known Issues, Part 3") A degraded Mynah is the first boss, and Beo, stuck in the mines with a failed hydraulic, tells Elster not to waste resources repairing her. (Signalis)
Storch (STCR)#
The STCR overview says Storches keep "a constant birds-eye view of any situation", with a manner "sometimes described as brutal and even cruel". (Signalis, "Replika Overview: STCR") Known Issues adds they're short-tempered and need early training in patience, and that showering or bathing keeps them stable. (Signalis, "Replika Known Issues, Part 2") Sieben's shift note during the outbreak says "Failure is not an option", and when Elster meets her she's waiting for new orders. (Signalis, "About the Administrator"; Signalis)
Adler (ADLR)#
The ADLR overview makes Adler the Falke's direct counterpart and adjutant, and Known Issues says Adlers "usually become very emotionally dependent on their Commander". (Signalis, "Replika Overview: ADLR"; Signalis, "Replika Known Issues, Part 3") His diary entries pile up with the same date and constant déjà vu. (Signalis, "Adler's Diary") At the red gate he calls Elster a selfish monster and warns she'll destroy everything, and the game never says whether he was right. (Signalis)
Frequently asked questions
- Which Replikas can I get?
- Six: Elster (LSTR), Falke (FKLR), Kolibri (KLBR), Mynah (MNHR), Storch (STCR) and Adler (ADLR). Each one comes up six times across the answers, so they're all equally likely.
- Why isn't Ariane a result?
- Ariane Yeong is a Gestalt, the Nation's word for a natural-born human, not a Replika. She has her own page if you want to read about her.
- Does it spoil the game?
- The questions don't. The result descriptions mention what happens to Falke and Adler and who Elster is looking for, so finish the game first if you care.

Followed from this entry
Adler: the Administrator Who Remembers the Loop
Adler is the ADLR administrator of S-23 Sierpinski, the Replika who throws Elster down a lift shaft and later blocks her at the red gate. His diaries show a bored bureaucrat slowly realising that the same days keep repeating, and that Elster has been here before.

Elster: the Replika Who Crossed Leng to Keep a Promise
Elster, unit LSTR-512, is the Replika you play in Signalis. She wakes on a crashed ship, searches a dying labour facility for someone she can't quite remember, and slowly works out that the person she lost is Ariane Yeong, the pilot she served with on the Penrose-512.
Falke: the Commander Who Looked Beyond the Red Gate
Falke is the FKLR unit who commanded the Protektors of S-23 Sierpinski and the final boss of Signalis. She crossed the red gate in the mines, came back sick, and was slowly overwritten by Elster's memories until she could no longer tell the two of them apart.
Kolibri: the Psychic Hive-Mind Replikas of Signalis
Kolibri units are small, highly bioresonant Replikas who serve as adjutants to a Falke commander and share their thoughts as a cadre. At S-23 Sierpinski almost all of them have gone wrong, and the one who hasn't is hiding alone in the library.
Mynah: the Armoured Mining Replikas and the First Boss of Signalis
Mynah units are the huge, diving-suit-like MNHR Replikas built for mining and hazardous work. A corrupted Mynah is the first boss Elster faces at S-23 Sierpinski, and a dying one in the mines gives one of the game's gentlest conversations.
Replika: the Artificial People of Signalis Explained
Replikas are the biomechanical people the Eusan Nation builds by copying the minds of chosen humans. They do its labour, its policing and its commanding. Here is how they are made, what each model does, and why they fall apart.
