Aaron Doral was a Number Five humanoid Cylon who infiltrated Colonial society as a public relations executive, running the press side of Galactica's decommissioning. Framed by Baltar, he was left behind at Ragnar Anchorage and collected by his fellow Cylons.

Biography#
Doral was one of many Cylons who infiltrated Colonial society as part of the prelude to the all-out attack. He posed as a public relations executive and coordinated the ceremony surrounding the decommissioning of Galactica, a battlestar whose lack of networked systems made it a theoretical danger to the Cylon strike force. During the build-up he mocked the old ship and spoke up for automated defence systems. A Cylon device was later found in Galactica's CIC. Doral himself departed aboard Colonial Heavy 798, bound for Caprica. (Battlestar Galactica miniseries)
When the passengers learned of the attacks while en route, Doral kept up his human identity but objected to the ship's efforts to help other civilian vessels, and questioned who had put Education minister Laura Roslin in charge. Lee Adama backed Roslin, and Doral's complaints were ignored after she was sworn in as President. Once aboard Galactica, Gaius Baltar picked Doral as a scapegoat and blamed him for the device in CIC. Doral protested his innocence from the brig but was left behind at the Ragnar Anchorage station, where he was found by a group of his fellow humanoid Cylons, among them another Number Five.
