Ragnar Anchorage was a Colonial Fleet supply depot in orbit of the gas giant Ragnar. Semi-abandoned by the time of the Fall, it became the rallying point where Galactica and the civilian fleet rearmed before fleeing into deep space.

Overview#
Ragnar Anchorage served the Colonial Fleet as a munitions and supply station, sitting in a calmer pocket within the gas giant's violent storms. The storms interfered with scanners and jump calculations, which hid the station from enemy eyes but made it notoriously hard to dock with. The Fall of the Twelve Colonies#
During the Fall, the battlestar Galactica jumped to Ragnar Anchorage to rearm and resupply. As the crew collected munitions, they found a man named Leoben Conoy, who claimed to be an arms dealer. Ragnar's storms gave off radiation that harmed Cylons, and when Conoy fell sick while trapped on the station with Commander William Adama, Adama realised he was a Cylon. While Galactica was docked at the station, a civilian convoy led by the former Secretary of Education, now President Laura Roslin, arrived seeking shelter from the Cylon forces. Adama wanted to keep fighting, but Roslin persuaded him that the war was over and the survivors had to run.
