Design#
A large ship in its own right, yet still dwarfed by Galactica, the Gemini appeared as a long container transport consisting of a central hull structure affixed with numerous external cargo pods of various livery design and nomenclature. Service in the fleet#
The freighter Gemini was originally part of Laura Roslin's refugee fleet before it joined the Battlestar Galactica. A second Gemini freighter was seen alongside it several times thereafter. The Gemini survived the dangerous passage through the radiation cluster to the Algae Planet, When the survivors settled the new Earth, the fleet's ships were flown into the sun.
