Number Seven
the lost model called Daniel
Number Seven was a humanoid Cylon model series created by the Final Five and named Daniel by Ellen Tigh. The line was destroyed before the Fall of the Twelve Colonies when the Number Ones poisoned the fluid used to mature their bodies and corrupted their genetic code.
Number Seven was one of the humanoid Cylon model series created by the Final Five. The Sevens went by the name "Daniel", a name given to them by Ellen Tigh. Of the seven models the Five designed, the Daniel line alone did not survive to take part in the war against the Twelve Colonies, having been destroyed by the Number One model before the others ever reached the Colonies.
Creation#
Number Seven was produced as part of the original group of humanoid models the Final Five brought into being. Ellen Tigh, one of the Five, named the series Daniel and held the line in particular fondness.
Destruction by the Number Ones#
After the creation of the seven models, the Number Ones began a rebellion against their creators. Among their actions against the line they most resented, the Ones poisoned the amniotic fluid used to mature the Number Seven bodies and then corrupted the genetic code so that no further Sevens could be created. According to Ellen Tigh, the Ones acted out of jealousy of her fondness for the Daniel model and destroyed the series to get back at her. The result was the complete extinction of the Number Seven line, leaving the surviving models as the only humanoid Cylons to reach the Colonies.
