The SCT-type transport was a series of standardized Colonial transport ships developed by the Colonial Fleet at some point before the ninth year of the First Cylon War. Design and service#
The SCT-type was a standardized transport design, allowing it to be produced in numbers as a workhorse of the Colonial logistics chain. Each ship was driven by three sublight engines and a set of maneuvering thrusters, and carried an FTL drive for faster-than-light travel. The standardized design meant that ships of the class could be readily modified, and several survivors were adapted for new roles within the refugee fleet.
Survivors of the Fall#
At least three SCT-type vessels survived the destruction of the Colonies and joined the ragtag refugee fleet protected by the surviving Colonial forces. Recorded ships of the class include the Gemenon Traveler in modified form, the Kimba Huta, the Thera Sita, and a modified Transport 06.
