History#
The Scylla was among the civilian ships gathered up by the Battlestar Pegasus in the aftermath of the Fall of the Twelve Colonies. Rather than escort the convoy, Rear Admiral Cain had the Scylla stripped for spare parts, including its FTL drive, and integrated its useful crew into the Pegasus. When passenger Peter Laird spoke for the civilians and they refused, Cain ordered the families of the conscripts shot. Lieutenant Kendra Shaw executed a woman, the Pegasus marines opened fire, and the resistance collapsed. Laird and the other conscripts were drafted into Colonial service, and the Scylla and its remaining passengers were left behind as Cain went back to her war against the Cylons.
