The Tauranian Traveller was a civilian ship in President Laura Roslin's refugee fleet. In the days after the Fall of the Twelve Colonies its captain tried to abandon the fleet, only to be forced back into formation by Galactica's Vipers. It survived to take part in the election that led to New Caprica.
The Tauranian Traveller, also rendered Tauron Traveler, was a civilian ship that formed part of President Laura Roslin's refugee fleet in the aftermath of the Fall of the Twelve Colonies. It carried roughly six hundred and ninety one crew and passengers.
Attempt to leave the fleet#
In the days following the Fall of the Twelve Colonies, with a Cylon force in pursuit of the survivors, the captain of the Tauranian Traveller made plans to abandon the refugee fleet and set out on a journey of his own. On the urging of President Roslin, Galactica launched several Vipers to intimidate the captain into folding the ship back into formation.
Later service#
Having remained with the fleet, the Tauranian Traveller went on to participate in the presidential election, the outcome of which led to the colonization of New Caprica.
