Troy was the first planet of the star Helios Beta and possessed an exceptionally rich metal composition. From the time Virgon and Leonis were founded, Troy was extensively mined by both colonies, and the two powers fought a number of conflicts over control of the world.

Troy's mining colony was eventually wiped out in a disaster caused by a methane explosion that ruptured its biodome. There were reportedly no survivors. The planet was also the reported birthplace of Lieutenant Sharon Valerii.
