The Saw Shield combines two jobs into one tool. It blocks attacks like any shield, but its jagged, saw-like edge delivers cuts in close combat. Ekimu wields it as his primary weapon. The design isn't accidental. It defines how Ekimu fights.
Functionality and Combat Role#
The Saw Shield operates as both barrier and blade. In combat, Ekimu uses it to parry and block incoming attacks while simultaneously deploying the saw edge for cuts and slashing strikes at close range. It demands a different fighting style than a traditional shield would, one that emphasizes aggressive defense rather than passive blocking.

Ekimu is the known wielder of the Saw Shield.
