A being of pure sound that the Toa Metru faced underground in Web of the Visorak, one of Bionicle's rarest elemental entities.

The Sonic Entity is one of Bionicle's most elusive creatures, a being made of pure sonic force encountered only once in the canonical storyline. Like the Fire Entity that appears elsewhere in the lore, it represents sound itself incarnate. A Being of Pure Sound#

The Sonic Entity exists as a counterpart to the Fire Entity, both representing elemental forces given form in the Matoran UniverseMatoran UniverseA civilization of biomechanical beings living inside a colossal robot, destroyed when Teridax seized control.. Where the Fire Entity is heat and flame incarnate, the Sonic Entity is sound itself, a creature that doesn't think or reason as organic beings do. It simply is, existing as a manifestation of its element. The ToaThe Toa: Heroes of the Matoran UniverseThe Toa were biomechanical guardians sworn to protect the Matoran, bound by a strict code and defined by sacrifice across every age of the universe. quickly realize that conventional strikes only trigger its offensive response. The solution comes through cooperation and lateral thinking: they seal the hallway completely, creating an airtight space. By removing all the air, they eliminate the medium through which sound travels. With silence restored, they strike the being and finally defeat it. It's one of the few encounters in the series where the victory comes not from martial skill but from understanding the physics of the entity's own nature.
