Capabilities#

The shield could change its rate of vibration almost instantly, the mechanism behind both its defensive and offensive modes. In barrier mode, it formed a dense sonic wall that could repel most forms of attack. In attack mode, the same vibration control let it fire concentrated bursts of sound. Lower intensities deafened an opponent. Higher intensities caused almost any target to stress and shatter from the resonance.

A single tool thus deflected incoming attacks at one frequency setting and pulverised solid matter at another.
