Ta-Koro
Ta-Koro was a settlement located in Ta-Wahi, home to the Ta-Matoran, Tahu, and Vakama, and formerly connected to Teridax. The settlement was ultimately destroyed.

The surrounding lava made the village difficult for enemies to reach.

There TahuTahu (2001)Tahu was the Toa Mata of Fire and leader of the team, from his first landing on Ta-Wahi Beach to the destruction of Teridax's Rahkshi army on Bara Magna with the Golden Armor. rallied the Ta-Matoran, telling them they could help defeat the Bohrok by standing united and strong together. Matoran defended the village against waves of Bohrok using their Boxors and traps.
Ta-Koro was protected by the Ta-Koro Guard, a force later captained by JallerJallerJaller served as Captain of the Ta-Koro Guard, led the Toa Inika to Voya Nui, and commanded the Toa Mahri through the recovery of the Mask of Life.. When the championship kolhii tournament was held, Tahu, the Toa Nuva, Vakama, and villagers from Po-Koro, Ga-Koro, and Ta-Koro gathered to watch the games. It was a Ta-Matoran of the village who recovered the golden Kanohi that Tahu sent to be shown to Vakama.
Ta-Koro was ultimately destroyed. Vakama later showed Takanuva and Jaller the ruins of the village and told the tale of the conflict between the Toa Nuva and the Rahkshi Kaita, using it as a lesson that one should not judge an enemy's power by appearance.
