When the Toa Nuva disappeared on their mission to Voya Nui, Hewkii joined Jaller, Hahli, Nuparu, Kongu, and Matoro on a second expedition to recover them and the Kanohi Ignika. The six Matoran were transformed into Toa Inika when their canister struck the Red Star on descent, exposing them to its energies.
What masks did Hewkii wear as a Toa?
As a Toa Inika, Hewkii bore the Sanok, Mask of Accuracy, which ensured any projectile he launched struck its intended target. After the Pit mutagen remade him into a Toa Mahri, he gained the Garai, Mask of Gravity, which let him manipulate the weight of any object or being within its range.
What happened to Hewkii at the end of the Bionicle story?
Hewkii survived the Reign of Shadows and the destruction of the Matoran Universe, reaching the reformed surface of Spherus Magna along with Macku and the rest of the surviving population. The record of his activities on the reformed world is not preserved in surviving documents.
