His rebellion was crushed, and he spent thousands of years imprisoned in the Pit alongside his fellow warlords. Unlike some of his counterparts who were content to accept their imprisonment, Takadox's mind never stopped working, always seeking an angle to exploit. When the Mask of Life appeared in recent years, he and the other Barraki made a desperate gamble to use its power to restore themselves, but the effort came to nothing.
Hypnotic Vision#
Takadox's defining ability was hypnotic vision, a power that allowed him to bend the wills of others with nothing more than a glance. His strength came from a different source. Today they might be heroes, but tomorrow they would be nothing more than food for the fish.
