In the Original Series continuity, the Pacifica was a Colonial battlestar that fought through the Thousand-Yahren War against the Cylon Alliance. It was among the few battlestars sent to the armistice talks over Cimtar, where it was destroyed in the Cylon ambush that ended the war.

The Pacifica was a Colonial battlestar that fought in the Thousand-Yahren War against the Cylon Alliance. At the end of the war it was one of the few battlestars left to attend the armistice talks over Cimtar, which proved to be a prelude to a massive Cylon strike in which the Pacifica was destroyed.

The Thousand-Yahren War#

The Pacifica served through the long Thousand-Yahren War between the Twelve Colonies and the Cylon Alliance. By the closing days of the conflict it stood among the few battlestars the Colonies still had in service.

Destruction at Cimtar#

When the Cylon Alliance proposed an end to hostilities, the Pacifica was sent to the armistice talks held over Cimtar. It ventured out with the other surviving battlestars, among them the Atlantia, the Galactica, the Triton, and the Columbia. The conference was a deception masking a massive Cylon strike, and the Pacifica was destroyed in the ambush.
