Only two ever existed in the Matoran Universe, and both passed through the hands of figures who reshaped the late storyline. of BrutakaBrutakaBrutaka guarded the Kanohi Ignika on Voya Nui, betrayed the Order during the Piraka incursion, served time in the Pit, and later led the Federation of Fear strike team.. It contained only two known places: a dead forest and the city of silver and crystal towers that gave the dimension its name.

At the city he found several small purple and black beings called Kestora fighting a larger creature that resembled an Archives MoleArchives MoleSmall, harmless burrowing Rahi engineered by the Makuta, originally native to Po-Metru and forced into the shadowy recesses of the Onu-Metru Archives, where their cooperative behaviour built living ladders and bridges through the lower levels.. Taking the larger creature for the source of the trouble, he drove it out, after which the Kestora locked him out of the city.

He searched out the creature, won its trust, and arranged a plan: he set off a fireworks display that drew the Kestora out of the city and let the large creature back inside, allowing it to lock the Kestora out. Places and inhabitants#

Two locations within the dimension were known. The City of Silver itself was a city of silver and crystal towers belonging to large creatures; the Kestora held it for a time before it was returned to the sole surviving builder by TakanuvaTakanuvaHidden among the Ta-Matoran as Takua, the disguised Av-Matoran who became Takanuva was the sole Toa of Light produced in the Matoran Universe's full history.. Outside the city lay a dead forest of bare trees, where the Spectral Mask resided.

Three kinds of being were known to inhabit the dimension. The Kestora were a race that attempted to take the City of Silver for their own.
