The Element Lord of Ice is a member of the Element Lords and a former Glatorian who once served as the leader of the Ice Tribe on Spherus Magna. His domain lay near Iconox. When two Agori discovered a spring of Energized Protodermis in the Element Lord of Ice's territory, the Element Lords held a conference to decide what should be done with the substance, which had the power to transform or destroy other materials. The other Lords expected him to share the find, but he immediately claimed it for himself and refused to give any part of it to the others, barricading the region to keep the other tribes out.
His greed pushed all of the tribes of Spherus Magna into the conflict known as the Core War. Among those who served under him was CertavusCertavusCertavus was a Prime Glatorian of Iconox, a Great Tournament champion, and one of three architects of the post-Shattering arena system on Bara Magna., who fought as a commander in the Core War under the Element Lord of Ice before later becoming Prime Glatorian for the Ice Tribe on Bara Magna.
Even after the Shattering split the planet, the Element Lords continued to fight one another. When the Agori Tarduk, Crotesius, and Kirbold were journeying with Surel in the White Quartz Mountains, the Element Lord of Ice unleashed an avalanche meant for the Element Lord of Fire, who melted the attack. Later, as the expedition was held in the River Dormus by the Element Lord of Water, the Element Lord of Ice began freezing the river before a compromise could be reached, and the group was rescued by the Element Lord of Rock.
His fate immediately after the war is uncertain, but the Element Lord of Ice now lives on the reformed Spherus Magna.
