When the Core War broke out over the claim to Energized Protodermis, the Element Lord of Jungle led the Jungle Tribe through the conflict. The Great Beings attempted to make the Element Lords negotiate a truce to end the war, but the Lords refused to obey their creators and the fighting continued. At one point he used his powers over plant life in combat to create the Forest of Blades, a stretch of armed trees that held weapons.
He appeared as a being covered in thorns, vines, and leaves, known as the Master of the Green. When the Agori Tarduk, Crotesius, and Kirbold passed through the Forest of Blades, the armed trees seized Tarduk and Crotesius, and leaves on the ground swirled together to form the Element Lord. He released Tarduk because they were of the same tribe, but when Kirbold ran up and tried to burn him with a lit torch, the Element Lord disappeared.
When the Shattering occurred, the six Element Lords were trapped within the great desert of Bara Magna. The members of the Jungle Tribe, including the Glatorian Vastus and Gresh, are now on the reformed Spherus Magna.
