Design and Engineering#

The Thornatus was engineered for survival in Bara MagnaBara MagnaA desert world of tribal warfare and scarce resources, one of three landmasses that formed Spherus Magna.'s harsh environment. The four-wheel frame provided stability across sand and rock, while the open cockpit let drivers maintain visibility and quick maneuverability. The vehicle wasn't a fortress or a tank. It was built to move, built to last on minimal maintenance, and built to carry cargo and personnel across long distances. The engineering reflects Bara MagnaBara MagnaA desert world of tribal warfare and scarce resources, one of three landmasses that formed Spherus Magna.'s reality: resources are limited, designs must work the first time, and speed matters when distance is your enemy.

The open cockpit meant drivers sat exposed to the elements, but it also meant quick exits if needed. Thornax LauncherThornax LauncherThe Thornax Launcher was a scrap-built projectile weapon produced by Agori engineers, firing Thornax fruit and standard across Glatorian and Skrall ranks. mounting hardware allowed the vehicle to be converted from pure transport into a mobile weapon platform, though most Thornatuses saw use as civilian and military transport rather than dedicated combat vehicles.
