Voporak
Voporak is a mutant member of Sidorak's species and a servant of the Dark Hunters. Clad in dark red, black, orange-yellow, and silver, he wields Rotating Blade Tools and a Rhotuka spinner and commands the power of time. He resides on Spherus Magna.
Voporak is a being created by a Makuta of the Brotherhood of MakutaThe Brotherhood of MakutaAn organization of Makuta created by Mata Nui to build Rahi and keep order in his universe, later seized by Teridax and turned into the instrument of the Plan that overthrew the Great Spirit. and a servant of the Dark HuntersThe Dark HuntersA band of mercenaries and thieves founded on Odina by the Shadowed One and Ancient, hired out across the Matoran Universe, and left a battered ruin by the time Teridax ruled the universe.. He is surrounded by a field that ages anything it touches, a power so formidable that when VakamaVakamaA Ta-Metru maskmaker transformed into the Toa Metru of Fire, leader of his team through the Visorak war, and Turaga of Ta-Koro for a thousand years. battled him a little over a thousand years earlier, while still a Toa, Voporak seemed impossible to beat, and it took a Makuta to defeat him in the end. Above all else, Voporak sought the Kanohi VahiKanohi VahiThe Kanohi Vahi was the Legendary Mask of Time, forged by Toa Metru Vakama from the six fused Great Disks of Metru Nui during the city's evacuation., the Mask of Time.
Voporak and the Dark Hunter known as "Ancient" were sent to find the Vahi at about the same time the Piraka were on Voya Nui. They realized that the mask was in Metru NuiMetru NuiThe city beneath Mata Nui functions as the Great Spirit's brain, housing the Matoran whose labor keeps the god alive., and Voporak traveled there in pursuit of it. When Vakama dove into the water to recover the Kanohi and nearly drowned after a water spout struck him, Voporak found him and took the Mask of Time, then handed it over to the Shadowed OneThe Shadowed OneThe Shadowed One is the leader of the Dark Hunters, a black, yellow, and silver figure based on Spherus Magna. His time field made Voporak dangerous to more than physical foes. When Teridax conjured an illusion and sent a Boggarak to distract Voporak, he simply aged the Visorak into dust. A being in spirit form was equally at risk, for a spirit that encountered Voporak's time field would be undone.
The pursuit of the Vahi ended in a confrontation at Metru Nui, where the Shadowed One and Voporak clashed with Teridax in a battle that quickly escalated. Vakama seized the chaos to grab the Mask of Time and make his escape. Though wounded, Teridax defeated both the Shadowed One and Voporak before going after the Toa of Fire.
