The Ghost Fleet Offensive#
Djerba became the target of a covert mission because of the Cylon communications systems sited there. A Marine recon team inserted on the surface was found dead. Above the moon, the pocket battlestar Osiris ran into a basestar and destroyed it by ramming it and detonating its own nuclear warheads by hand. The surviving pilots, among them a young William Adama, pressed on with the mission, which turned out to be a deception planned by Colonial command to set up the Ghost Fleet Offensive.
