A Reluctant Hero#

Crotesius's arc in Riddle of the Great Beings is one of Bionicle's quietest transformations. He goes from cynical arena worker to genuine adventurer, not through inspiration or sudden courage, but through logic. The choice between a pointless life and a dangerous one isn't romantic. It's practical. That tension between survival instinct and the pull toward something greater is what gives him weight as a character.
