Distinguished by his dark green and lime coloration and equipped with claws and shoulder blades, he made his living as a treasure hunter, drawn far more to the ruins scattered across Bara Magna than to the ordinary labors of his village.
Tarduk helped prepare the arena at the free city of Atero for the annual tournament, but he rarely stayed at such work for long. With ruins nearby that he could explore, he often slipped away from the city to search them. This restlessness shaped his most notable venture, a journey north in search of a red star reported in the sky.
Setting out with the Agori Crotesius and Kirbold, Tarduk led the small party northwest, past Tesara and Elbow Peak and into the White Quartz Mountains, bound for the dangerous region above the Black Spike Mountains. The party reached the ruins of Atero, where Crotesius and Kirbold turned back toward their own villages. Tarduk resolved to continue north once he was certain Tesara was safe, determined to pass through an arch he sought beyond the mountains.
Back in the desert, Tarduk struggled to convince the Glatorian Vastus and Gresh of the truth of his journey with Crotesius and Kirbold to the north. When the trio discovered that the thief Fero was carrying a Skrall's saw blade shield, Tarduk suggested that a Skrall had given it to him, a theory Vastus dismissed as absurd before a light appeared in the sky above them.
After the reformation of Spherus Magna, Tarduk lived at Tesara, where he worked alongside the Toa as the inhabitants rebuilt their world. It was there that he encountered the disoriented Vezon, directing the newcomer to help Gresh and Toa Kongu before the village came under attack.
