The Protectors used them together too. When the six went into the city of the Mask Makers by the back way and found the Lord of Skull Spiders waking in his lair, they used their Elemental Blasters to damage the ceiling, and Kivoda and Narmoto kept at it until the lair came down. Narmoto then guided him toward the Golden Mask of Fire, fighting many Skull Spiders over weeks of travel. As they neared the mask, Narmoto warned Tahu that more danger lay ahead, with the spiders close behind. The temple of the Golden Mask of Fire#

The blaster's main recorded action came at the temple in the Region of Fire where the Golden Mask of Fire was kept. Tahu and Narmoto climbed it with a horde of Skull Spiders on their heels. Tahu put on the Golden Mask of Fire instead and unleashed its power to destroy the spiders, saving his Protector. Ekimu then sent Tahu a vision calling him to the City of the Mask Makers, and Narmoto told him about the five other Toa who would join him.
