During the struggle that followed, Teridax had Spinax hunt down Hydraxon to drive him off, and Spinax repeatedly attacked the jailer to cover the escape of JallerJallerJaller served as Captain of the Ta-Koro Guard, led the Toa Inika to Voya Nui, and commanded the Toa Mahri through the recovery of the Mask of Life. and Matoro with the Kanohi Ignika. In one such clash, Spinax struck down GorastGorastA Makuta defined by rage and ruthlessness, Gorast conquered the Visorak and became Teridax's most devoted enforcer. during a confrontation, forcing her to flee. After Teridax's essence departed the ruined Maxilos body, Hydraxon later came across Spinax beside the irreparably damaged robot.
Spinax was afterward counted among the forces of the Order of Mata NuiThe Order of Mata NuiThe covert organization founded by Helryx to serve the Great Spirit directly, operating in concealment from a fortress on Daxia and waging the open war against the Brotherhood of Makuta that decided the fate of the universe., the secret organization to which Hydraxon belonged.
