In Destiny WarThe Destiny WarThe open conflict between the Order of Mata Nui and the Brotherhood of Makuta that ended fifty thousand years of operational secrecy and broke the Brotherhood's last assault on Metru Nui., Trinuma walks into a prison cell and unlocks the door. The cell belongs to VezonVezonHe started as a weapon misfire and a throwaway joke, and the canon spent four years quietly turning him into its most useful expendable asset., who's been locked away and frankly amazed at the turn of events. This exchange more or less defines Trinuma's entire personality: exhausted competence wrapped in sarcasm. He's got a job to do, the job involves a lunatic, and he's going to do it anyway.

The Order didn't send just anyone. Where other masks grant strength or invisibility, Trinuma's grants the power of charisma itself, which in his hands becomes the ability to convince VezonVezonHe started as a weapon misfire and a throwaway joke, and the canon spent four years quietly turning him into its most useful expendable asset. that dying horribly is a reasonable life choice.

This is the last we see of Trinuma in the series. He drops VezonVezonHe started as a weapon misfire and a throwaway joke, and the canon spent four years quietly turning him into its most useful expendable asset. off and presumably returns to whatever grim work the Order does when they're not recruiting chaos agents for suicide runs. He's not a main character. He's not even particularly complex. But in a franchise where many characters get pages of motivation and backstory, Trinuma's a refreshing example of someone who just shows up, does the job, and moves on.
