By the time of the Toa/Dark Hunter War, she'd earned a reputation as someone who got results without hesitation or complaint. Her protosteel daggers and tactical instinct made her one of the most dependable operatives in the organization. Unlike many Dark Hunters who talked endlessly about their exploits, Lariska simply took the next contract and moved forward without ceremony. This competence made her one of the Shadowed One's most valued operatives.
A Hunter's Discipline#
Lariska served the Shadowed One's organization with a kind of discipline that set her apart from the rest of the mercenary roster. She wasn't flashy or prone to the ego that plagued so many other Dark Hunters, and that restraint made her effective where showiness would have failed. While many pursued contracts for profit or glory or the pure thrill of combat, Lariska seemed driven by something closer to pure professionalism. The job mattered. Its execution mattered more. She completed her assignments with competence and moved forward without fanfare.
