Lunda was a dwarven blacksmith and an old friend of Brok and Sindri, her smithing skill counted the equal of the Huldra Brothers. Working in support of Freyr's resistance, she armed his forces and aided Kratos and Atreus in their war against Asgard.
Smith of Freyr's resistance#
Kratos first met Lunda in Freyr's hidden resistance camp in Vanaheim, where she worked tirelessly at her forge to outfit Freyr's forces with weapons and armor. Her skill was reckoned the equal of the Huldra Brothers, Brok and Sindri. When she and Brok reunited, the two shared a warm embrace that revealed a long-standing friendship and mutual respect beneath her otherwise quirky manner.
Character#
Bold and eccentric, Lunda was refreshingly open about her feelings, flirting unapologetically with both Kratos and Freya and unsettling Kratos with how quickly she grew familiar. Beneath the playfulness she could be cunning, as when she sent Kratos and Freya hunting for what she insisted was an important green orb that proved to be her dog Helka's squeaky toy. Despite finding her strange, Kratos tolerated her for the strength of her armaments. Her bond with Brok was the deepest of her ties, and she was visibly grieved by his death.
After Ragnarok#
Lunda paid her respects before Brok's funeral alongside Durlin and Raeb, and remained for his final farewell. After Odin's defeat and the destruction of Asgard, she thanked Kratos for avenging Brok and ending the tyrant's reign. With Sindri departed and Brok gone, Lunda took it upon herself to check on and maintain the Huldra Brothers' forges, keeping their work alive.
