Geth Troopers were the standard infantry of the geth, the lightly equipped platforms that made up the bulk of the synthetics' ground forces. Carrying no exotic weapons and wearing little heavy armor, they fought in groups and depended on the support of stronger and more specialized geth units, such as the heavy Geth Prime, to press an attack.

Role#

Geth Troopers were the standard ground forces of the geth, the most common platform fielded in their many engagements. They served as basic infantry, lightly equipped with no exotic weapons and armed with standard geth armaments such as the geth pulse rifle. On the battlefield they rarely operated alone, usually attacking in groups and depending on the support of stronger geth units to carry an assault. Lacking heavy armor, an individual Trooper was far less resilient than the larger platforms it fought alongside, and its strength lay in numbers rather than in the firepower or durability of any single unit.

Appearance#

The Geth Trooper had the characteristic geth form: a bipedal frame with a single bright flashlight eye and pale synthetic flesh stretched over its metallic structure. Its coloring varied between appearances, ranging from a dark steel gray to white, often marked with patches of armor coloring, but in every case its plain, lightly armored build set it apart from the heavier and more specialized platforms in a geth formation.
