Role inside the Dark Hunters#

Darkness looms over the Shadowed One at all times, waiting for him to slip. When the leader travels to other islands, Darkness goes too, and even when they're apart he still manages to watch him. He rarely leaves the Shadowed One's side, and then only to discipline disobedient Dark Hunters. (BIONICLE: Dark Hunters)

The proto-Piraka coup#

Five thousand years ago, five SkakdiSkakdiA brutish warrior species from Zakaz whose pair-dependent elemental powers and moral void made them one of Bionicle's few irredeemable factions. Darkness briefly left his leader's side to speak to them, warning them that the Shadowed One knew their plans. Powers and equipment#

Darkness can bend and slither through minuscule spaces. The Shadowed One believed this wasn't the full extent of his powers, and Darkness is considered one of the most powerful Dark Hunters, able to take down the Shadowed One himself if needed. (BIONICLE: Dark Hunters)

The Dark Mirror counterpart#

In the alternate universe of Dark MirrorDark MirrorThe 2008 podcast serial in which Takanuva, thrown off course by a damaged Olmak, lands in a universe where Tuyet kept the Nui Stone and the Toa rule the Matoran by fear., where Tuyet's Toa Empire rules, Darkness is one of the Dark Hunters who survived and joined Pohatu's resistance.
