Ko-Koro
Ko-Koro is a location in Ko-Wahi, home to the Ko-Matoran and associated with both Nuju and Kopaka. Its exact size is unknown.

Ko-Koro is the village of the Ko-MatoranKo-MatoranIce Matoran who were quiet scholars and star-watchers, built to survive the frozen peaks of Ko-Wahi., set in the icy region of Ko-Wahi on the island of Mata Nui. It was led by Turaga Nuju, and its surrounding region fell under the protection of KopakaKopakaKopaka was the Toa Nuva of Ice, deputy commander of the Toa Mata, and one of the six warriors crafted on Artakha to defend the Matoran Universe., Toa of Ice. The village was first built after the Matoran were awakened on Mata Nui, with the Ice Smith Arktinen among those who aided in its construction and who carved ice statues there.
Nuju governed from the Sanctum within the village. Because he spoke only in the dialect of the bird Rahi, he relied on his interpreter, Matoro, to translate his words for visitors. A statue of Mata Nui near Ko-Koro bore the carved warning "Beware the swarms," one of the ominous signs that foretold the awakening of the Bohrok.
The village was a center of the Ko-Matoran craft of ice carving. Whereas the Po-Koro carvers usually sent their stone creations to be sold at distant marketplaces, the Ko-Matoran Ice Carvers kept and displayed their work in Ko-Koro itself.
During the Bohrok War, Ko-Koro was among the villages damaged by the Bohrok Swarms, alongside Onu-Koro. It was here that Kopaka began tracking the swarms, succeeding in locating the Bohrok Nest by following a Bohrok Va. After the defeat of the Bohrok-Kal, the village was rebuilt; when Kopaka returned during this reconstruction, Nuju placed the Toa's Nuva symbol in the suva despite Kopaka's disparagement of the symbol's importance.
