The power#
Plasma gave its wielders command over superheated matter. The heat it produced was extreme enough to reduce solid ground to slag. When the Bohrok-KalThe Bohrok SwarmsThe six-tribe Matoran Universe cleanup force awakened to strip the island of Mata Nui back to bare rock for the Great Spirit's reawakening. Pahrak-Kal, which carried the power of Plasma, lost control of its own abilities, its plasma melted the surrounding ground and sent it plunging into the earth. The same elite Bohrok could turn a boulder thrown at it into magma before the missile even left its attacker's hands.
Matoran, Toa, and other wielders#
The Matoran tied to the element were the Su-Matoran, denoted by the prefix Su-. They were resistant to heat and sunlight, lived in areas with a hot climate, were all male, and were orange and white in color. By the logic of the Matoran Universe, the existence of Toa of Plasma implied a corresponding line of Su-Matoran, and at least one such Matoran rose to become a Toa of Plasma before being attacked by the Piraka ZaktanZaktanMutated Skakdi leader of the Piraka, formerly a Dark Hunter whose body was dissolved into a colony of Protodites by the Shadowed One and reformed with its consciousness intact. years before the events at Voya Nui.
