Toa Seal

A cage of Protodermis created by six Toa combining their Elemental Powers, used to trap powerful beings.

By Lore Fortress Editorial

A Toa Seal isn't a magical lock you pick. It's a cage of solid ProtodermisProtodermisThe engineered substance building the Matoran Universe, protodermis exists in countless refined states from mundane metal to diamond-hard crystal to the destruction-or-transformation force of energized form., forged when six Toa combine their Elemental Powers into a single unified blast. Each Toa must wield a different element. The result is containment so absolute that only one method known to canon can break it: take a shard of the seal itself and feed it the exact same elemental combination that built it in the first place. That's the lever that breaks the lock. Only two seals were ever created, and both held beings too powerful for the Toa to defeat any other way.

Breaking the Cage#

The seal's tragic flaw lay in its own construction. What six Toa could create, six Toa could theoretically unmake. But that required all six elements working in concert once more.
