Frequently asked questions
- What is Legends of Metru Nui about?
- It chronicles the fall of Metru Nui, covering how Toa Mangai Lhikan passed his power to six Matoran, how the city fell to the Makuta Teridax disguised as Turaga Dume, and how Vakama forged the Kanohi Vahi. The event ended one age of the Matoran Universe and produced both the Toa Metru and the Vahi.
- How did the six Matoran become the Toa Metru?
- Lhikan removed six Toa stones from the Great Temple in Ga-Metru and distributed them to Nokama, Onewa, Whenua, Matau, Nuju, and Vakama. The six Matoran converged on the Great Temple, placed the stones in the Toa Suva, and were transformed simultaneously into the Toa Metru.
- Who was Turaga Dume revealed to be?
- The figure ruling from Dume's throne was the Makuta Teridax in disguise. The real Dume had been captured and sealed inside a Matoran Sphere, and Teridax had been trusted into control of the city rather than invading it, gradually sealing the population into spheres on the impostor's public orders.
- How did Lhikan die?
- By the time the Toa Metru reached him, Lhikan had already spent his Toa Power to become a Turaga. When Teridax raised his shadow hand to kill Vakama aboard the transport, Lhikan intercepted the attack and was killed protecting him. His Spirit Star then split into six new stars above the silver sea.
- What was significant about the Kanohi Vahi that Vakama forged?
- Vakama completed the Kanohi Vahi by fusing the six Great Disks aboard the transport. The Vahi was the only Legendary Kanohi forged through a documented process and the only one not created by the Great Beings themselves.
