Void Seeker was a star relic and the personal starship of the Dark Templar Zeratul. A small vessel with a dull black finish, it served as his means of travel across the Koprulu sector and beyond through years of searching for the truth behind an ancient prophecy.
Early voyages#
Zeratul used Void Seeker, a small ship with a dull black finish, to transport a band of Dark Templar to Char. After the warriors disembarked, he hid the vessel with powerful illusions, and though it was reported destroyed during the fighting with the zerg, the Swarm had in fact been deceived. He later used the ship to investigate the strange events that followed his encounter with the infested Samir Duran.
The quest for the prophecy#
Shortly before the Second Great War, Void Seeker was attacked again by zerg on Ulaan, but escaped with Zeratul before it could be destroyed. He used it to explore Zhakul and the Overmind's death site on Aiur, and later to travel to Zerus with Sarah Kerrigan before returning to Shakuras. As Zeratul continued to examine the prophecy, the ship aided Praetor Talis in combat against the Moebius Foundation, accompanied her forces to Atrias, where it extracted vespene gas from surface vents from orbit, and carried Zeratul clear of the Temple of Erris.
Destruction on Aiur#
As the Reclamation of Aiur began, Zeratul flew Void Seeker to the Golden Armada in orbit above the world to meet Artanis, then docked it in a concealed location on the surface. When he later prepared to depart, he returned to the ship and found it destroyed by unknown assailants. With Amon's attack on the protoss beginning, Zeratul and his allies were forced to abandon the wreck.
