Frequently asked questions
- What was the Bohrok War?
- The Bohrok War was the conflict fought on the surface of Mata Nui between the Toa Mata and the six Bohrok swarms released from beneath the island after the Toa defeated Makuta Teridax at Mangaia. It ended with the sealing of the Bahrag queens and the transformation of the Toa Mata into the Toa Nuva.
- Why did the Bohrok swarms awaken?
- The defeat of Teridax triggered the awakening of the six Bohrok swarms. The Bohrok were mechanical creatures created to clear the surface of the Great Spirit's body of all life and habitation in preparation for Mata Nui's awakening.
- How did Lewa get free of the krana?
- After Le-Koro fell, a krana was clamped to Lewa's face and he became part of the swarm. Onua found him and, rather than fighting, told him that only Lewa held power over his own mind and the krana could not control him if he refused it, and Lewa removed the krana himself.
- How were the Bahrag defeated?
- Inside the Bohrok-Nest the Toa donned Exo-Toa armour to fight Cahdok and Gahdok, but the suits blocked their elemental powers, so they shed the armour. They then combined all six elemental powers into a single beam, which condensed around the queens as solid protodermis and sealed them in a cage.
- How did the Toa Mata become the Toa Nuva?
- After the Bahrag were sealed, the chamber floor opened beneath the Toa Mata and they fell into a pool of Energized Protodermis, a substance that transformed any being it touched along the line of that being's destiny. They emerged transformed as the Toa Nuva, with redesigned armour, reconfigured tools, and enhanced elemental powers.
