Frequently asked questions
- Who is Idris in Bionicle?
- Idris was a Ga-Matoran of Mahri Nui and one of the four-Matoran crew of Defilak's Submarine. She befriended the future Toa of Air Lesovikk on her home island before her Turaga went mad and exiled the population to Karzahni.
- How did Idris end up in Mahri Nui?
- After Karzahni failed to repair her and rebuilt her into a worse form, Idris was exiled to the Southern Continent, ending up in the village that broke off as Voya Nui. That beach village later sank to the seafloor to form Mahri Nui, and the Pit's mutagen transformed her into a water-breather.
- What happened to Idris during the submarine expedition?
- Idris volunteered for Defilak's reconnaissance into the Black Water alongside Sarda and the Onu-Matoran Gar. The sub was destroyed by Takea Sharks commanded by Pridak, who took the four Matoran captive; after Pridak left with Defilak, Idris and Gar were trapped at the airweed fields by Carapar's Keras and rescued by the escaped Defilak.
- How did Idris help trap Karzahni?
- After Lesovikk was caught in a vision from the Olisi, Idris and Sarda constructed a makeshift trap and lured Karzahni toward it using their own visible presence as bait. Lesovikk recovered in time to interrupt the chase and save them, and Karzahni sprang the trap on himself.
- What happened to Idris in the end?
- Idris carried Lesovikk's converted air-breathing device toward Mahri Nui through the Stone Cord, surviving an attack by Zaktan along the way. She was later restored to an air-breather by the Mask of Life and evacuated with the rest of the Matoran population onto Spherus Magna.
